This 1 day ECo-preneurship workshop combines The Earth Common’s vision to solve world’s most urgent environmental challenges, Georgetown Entrepreneurship's entrepreneurial mission and Business of Sustainability's focus on sustainable development with Ycenter’s award-winning experiential learning program framework. We are inviting the Georgetown University students, faculty and staff to come and participate in this workshop to learn to use human-centered design framework + entrepreneurial thinking to create actionable ideas for solving the most complex problems of our planet.
Upon completing our program, Ycenter will provide participants with a verified certificate that can be showcased as a LinkedIn badge, highlighting your achievement and new skills. This badge not only enhances your professional profile but also signals to potential employers that you've gained valuable, hands-on experience in innovation, sustainability, design thinking and entrepreneurship. We will also showcase your project on our newly launched global respository of SDGs projects for additional growth and networking opportunities.
The entire workshop is delivered using Experiential Learning Pedagogy, which means as participants you will be engaging in hands-on activities rather than learning only theories. Get a chance to specifically work on your respective project ideas (if any) or pick a problem statement under the context of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
As part of our commitment towards creating a global ecosystem of entrepreneurs, innovators and change-makers, all participants will receive continued mentorship for their projects by our global leadership team beyond the workshop.
Also get an exclusive opportunity to join the new Environmental Entrepreneurship Initiative at Georgetown and receive information about dates, speakers and events into the future.
Students with existing early stage ideas or wanting to build new ventures or projects to solve for our environmental challenges.
